I have such pleasant memories of knowing Buddy. Although it's been many years since I saw last saw him, I can picture him like it was just yesterday. He was such a wonderful person to know. I will always remember Buddy and Anna as two very special people. Please give my condolences to Anna. Sincerely,
Kiki Diasourakis

Buddy was one of great Charlestonians whose presence vitalized the Lowcountry & every other place he set foot. He was the eloquent voice who always left the listener enchanted and eager for more.He conjured good times out of thin air and was unstintingly generous in the sharing-no matter how many wings you wanted to fly.If you felt low he could make you laugh and if you felt good he could make you laugh even harder at yourself. My respects to Annabelle & Sharon & Mamie & Emily & Billy & William & his family & his many other friends who were touched by the life of Buddy .

I only met Buddy once. It was this summer when he visited his long time friend, Jack Moore of Atlanta on Sullivan's Island. He was a very entertaining man. I truly enjoyed spending time with him & his daughter. I only wish I had been able to get to know him better. The world will be not quite as bright with him no longer in it.
Sincerely,
Betty Robinson Ray, Callahan, Florida(Trudy & Lawrence Moore's neice)

It is sad to see his life come to an end. He was always so full of life and if he was in the room you knew he was there. He taught me so much about life in general and the stories we shared over the past 47 years will always be a reminder of our great friendship. He saw so much history happen before his eyes as he grew up in Charleston and I was always amazed how much he remembered. Our fishing trips was not only a reason to catch fish but was a time to just be together. There are so many experiences we had together that it would take a note book to record them. HE WILL BE MISSED!
