I am deeply saddened to learn of John's passing. I met John in High School at St Xavier. Some of my fondest memories are with John at football practice or just hanging out in the lunch room doing the dumb things high school kids do. We truly lost one of the good ones.
John's bravery and strength in the face of adversity are truly inspiring. I would consider myself blessed if I could face life's issues with half of the courage that John displayed. It was John's spirit as a fighter that helped him in his long battle and gave us bonus years with our friend.
I will miss my friend and consider myself a better person for having known him.

John brightened the lives of so many of us here at the Bank. Even during the worst times, when I dropped by John's desk I knew I'd feel better after seeing John's smile and hearing his laugh. I am privileged to have known him.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of a good man. I will keep his family in my thoughts and prayers. RIP John.
