John D. Howe

You will be missed John but you will live on in the hearts and minds of those you leave behind. It seems like only yesterday that Georgia, Eunie, you and myself were slipping and sliding on icy roads in Ohio on our way to VA to see Peggy. You were determined to win her heart and the mission was a success. You ended up with a wonderful family and many happy years. God speed.
I want to extend to you and the boys my sincerest sympathy. John and I had some good years together in Columbus, and we were able to relive many of those times during a lengthy phone conversation last fall. I am indebted to Dick for sharing your phone number with me at that time.
Mrs. Howe & family,
Please accept my sympathy on John's passing. I was lucky to know him as our son's PE teacher at Forest Dale & worked with him on PTO projects & as a FD staff member. John's concern for the students & his good humor were apparent. He even came to CC & track meets when his students moved on to Jr. High! This was appreciated by the students & their parents. He will be fondly remembered. Sincerely, Lori Boland
Offering our deepest condolences during this time.
