I recently learned that Lloyd has passed on. He was my brother's (Jim Hall) best friend in Nutley, where we grew up on the same street. What a wonderful life he has lived. I'm so sad he is gone.
I will forever see Lloyd flying on my wing, and the grin on his face when you and I landed the L-39 jet back in Lock Haven. We lost a wonderful pilot, friend, and man. Becky and I send strength, care, and love to you always.
Dottie, Jeanne, Lloyd and Ginger,
I was deeply saddened to be told of Lloyd's death. If only Lloyd and Warner could have had one more visit before Warner's death in November. Lloyd was such a wonderful man, and Warner always looked up to his big brother. May all of you continue to be comforted by the love and support of friends and family.
We were deeply saddened by Lloyd's death. He was a good friend and always a true gentleman in both his business and social life. There weren't many like him. Our condolences go to you and your family.
Fondly, Al and Amanda Smith
To Dottie, Jeanne, Lloyd and Ginger: My father, Wilson Oberdorfer, and I were deeply saddened by the news of Lloyd's passing. He was my father's closest friend. I remember spending time with your family and flying with Lloyd, with great fondness.
