Some of the neighborhood kids are wonderful. But when I didn't know what to do with the pesky ones. Then I looked back at how Joe handled us when we were kids. And it all worked out fine. He set a good example for all the world to see.
Often times when I wasn't sure what to do with the pesky neighbor children. Then I looked back on how Joe handled us when we were the kids of the neighborhood. Joe set a good example to others on how to behave in an otherwise troubling world. The world needs more people like him, Doug.
May you continue to feel the love and support of family and friends as you celebrate a life that was well lived.
We just learned of His passing today. So sad to hear. Wish we could have been at the service. We will keep you in our prayers.
Dearest Family of Brother Joe,
I join with so many others who knew Joe in offering our deepest sympathy on his passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in his passing you can celebrate the end of a very long and productive life.
The measure of a life well-lived is not in how much money one has or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind. If the outpouring of sympathy on his loss is any indication, and it most certainly is, you can proudly and confidently say that his indeed was a life well-lived.
May you find peace and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by all who knew and loved him.
