My Dad..he was one of the kindest..sweetest people..the only time I ever heard him say anything bad about anyone was about some guy over by White Cloud who had been mean to his animals (pigs)! I remember him stopping in the road to let a turtle finish crossing..however he didn't like snakes..Even though he and my Mom divorced when I was 10 years old..never once did he not be there for his kids.I know my Mom was the love of his life.. they had been divorced and she remarried and after her 2nd husband passed away.. she came back here to live.. while she was in the nursing home..they reunited thought us kids and on his 84th birthday he was taking Mom out to dinner. While together in the back seat he said to her."Hope, it was 66 years ago today that I fell in Love with you for the frist time and I believe I'm falling in love with you all over again."He wasn't a man who ever wanted to be in the spot light, and he wasn't much for organized religion but he had a heart of gold... So I'm sure that will be over looked. He and my Mom over came some real heart aches through their life together but it's what life is and I believe what makes us learn and become better people. He was just simply the BEST and I'm going to miss him.. He would always ask me how old I was..
