Betty and Family,

Richard was one of the nicest men I ever met. He always had a smile and a kind word for me. He worked for my parents(John and Bea Gross) at their grocery store on North Zane Highway in his early years and I knew he was a true friend. He also helped me when my Mother's funeral service was held at Heslop's.

I will miss him. God Bless.

I still hear his tenor descants shaking the rafters of our church in Martins Ferry. He was a special man.
