Growing up I remember how Bob would show us home movies, and play them in reverse, so that kids would be running backwards, and jump out of the swimming pool, which delighted me. He always had a joke and a smile. As an adult, he remained interested in what we were doing in school, in our careers, and where our lives took us. I feel blessed to have known him the 41 years of my life. My thoughts are with his entire extended family at this difficult time.
I am a cochlear implant recipient and am in the support group that Bob attended. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He added a lot to our group and everyone liked him a lot. I will make a donation to the Hearing, Speech and deaf center in his memory.
Your dad, our best friend, was truly one of a kind. We will miss him as much as you will. Your funeral arrangements were very well thought out and were a tribute to Bob. We continue to remember all of you in thoughts and prayers. Love, Mary & Charlie
We enjoyed being good friends with Bob for many years. With all the poker games, the 25 houseboat trips, the events at Berger Hill, and many memorable get-togethers with him and Lois. Great times always. Bob made everyone feel welcome and he was a true friend. We will always cherish many fond memories of him. Our deepest condolences to his family.
So sorry to hear of Bob's passing & I am happy that I was able to talk with him in the past couple of months. He was not only a good husband & father, but a patriot as well as can be attested to by his service to our country during difficult times.
He will be missed,
Ron & Susan Schuckman (cousins) from Louisville, Ky
