I met Robin while she was having Chemo. My husband Raymond was having Chemo at the same time. She had told me her story and OMG she was so brave! She was such a nice person and was such a great conversationalist. My husband really enjoyed talking to her also. I noticed that Robin passed away a year to the day after my husband did. She had also sent an online condolence to me, on this website. My sympathy to Robins family.
Growing up on Jalama Road, at the age of six Robin and Sally became my very first childhood friends. That friendship continued throughout many of our youthful milestones including high-school, college, our first trip to Idaho and weddings that followed. While there is now a void at the news of Robin's passing, I will always remember the memories we shared. Steve, Sally and family, I send my heartfelt condolences for your loss. May you take comfort in your fond remembrances and belief that Robin is now at peace. I'm sorry I am unable to be there Saturday but know that I will be thinking of each of you.
Robin always kept a bright and positive attitude. I'll always remember her smiling face. Rest peacefully, Robin.
Steve has been my friend since 3rd grade at La Mesa. I met Robin through the Presbyterian Church youth group, and I think Steve met Robin through our mutual friend Paul Olson who also came to the church youth group. I was glad to reconnect with her a few years ago during a visit to the area. She was the same energetic positive person she had always been. Robin was a very special person and will be terribly missed.
I went to High School with Robin...and later in life attended bible studies in the same small group. She always added so much spiritual insight to the conversations. She was a Godly woman and is now in peace and completely healed by her Maker. I can picture her smiling and talking with HIM.
