To the family of Sterling Jr. I send my condolences to you on learning of your father's passing on January 30. I received a copy of his newspaper obituary and a note from mutual friends this past week on May 14. Your dad, father-in-law, and grandfather befriended me during the eighteen months I lived in the area and worked at Harper and Row. We did reconnect a few times after I moved to Minnesota with 3M Company, but regularly staying in touch was not to be. Even so, he will always remain a friend for life in my memory bank and I' m truly sorry to learn of his passing. As Memorial Day will be observed May 26, I will honor his memory today with a contribution to Minnesota's Wounded Warrior Project in his name.
Sterling, I'm so sorry for the loss of your father. You and your family will be in my prayers.
To the family of STERLING R.COLBORN JR.I send my condolences. May you at this time draw close to GOD and he will draw close to you. JAMES 4.8.
Hi Sterling and Sue, I'm so sorry to learn of your dad's passing. I'm out of town and wasn't able to make the viewing. Please accept my condolences. I thought of your dad often in the almost two years since my dad passed. They're together now with so many of the "Old Folks Club", I'm sure catching up on old times. Your dad was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor. He was a good friend to my dad over the years since my mom died and my dad always had great stories to tell after their weekly(or more!) lunches. They were good for each other, though we all worried if they would make it home safely! My deepest sympathies to you all.
I'm so sorry to hear of your father's passing. Your dad and mine sure had some wonderful times together.
