Sincere condolences to the McBride family. Tom was an inspiration to many. His assistance with students, (some dear to me), was second to none. His professionalism with regard to the operation side was always appreciated. You will be missed old friend. Sincerely, Tony Welsh, Broward Schools Vehicle Maintenance.
To Joanne, Heather and Kelli, your tears are not in vain, as we remember Tommy "Mac" McBride today. Tommy It has been an honor and a great privilege to work beside you for over 23 years at the Broward Fire Academy. You let us pursue our dreams and you never said no.
Thank you my Brother "Mac" " We will all miss you tremendously!
The McBride and McFatter familes have lost a good man. Joanne, Heather, and Kelli, you do not grieve alone, as Tom was loved and will be missed by many. He spent his adult life serving the community as a firefighter, and then a teacher...rest in peace, Tommy McBride...you surely earned a place in heaven. You were a pleasure to work with. Maybe you can pull a few strings for our 'Canes up there. [[_]]
I'll miss you buddy. You were great to work with
Mac, you got me into the academy 10 years ago, you gave me my job at the academy 4 years ago, and two years ago you let me have the opportunity to run the EMS side of the academy. And for that I thank you and will always love you.I got to spend a lot of time with you and for that I will never forget you. Every day I drive to the academy I will look for your car and alway remember the times we shared and laughed.
My tommy quote would have to be
" I'm never leaving this place, it's better then the fire house, it's like a sorority and I love it"
Thanks for everything that you did for me Mac
