I just read about "aunt Violette´s" passing away. What a warmhearted and beautiful person, making me feel at home in her house immediately when I arrived from Germany in 1979, after marrying her nephew Elias.
We both loved elegant fashion and good food - she patiently taught me some of her delicious recepies and listened wisely to some of the difficulties I encountered in the New World.
A beautiful and wise woman - her passing away makes me sad, a loss for everybody surviving her.
Dear Sandra and Alex,
I am so sorry to hear of your beautiful Mama's death - the last of Pulaski's real clothiers has gone to a better place. I remember as a teen being at your home and eating a wonderful meat stuffed grape leaf dish which was so delicious to me - much better than Roy's Lunch hot dogs! I hope for peace and happiness for the both of you in this sad time. I have thought of you both with only good memories over the years.
Mrs. Ammar loved her life, and the people in it, without reservation, and with loyalty and grace. I am saddened to hear of her passing, and I pray her loved ones be blessed with strength in this difficult time.
I'm so sorry to hear of Ms. Violette's passing. She was the epitome of grace and beauty, always greeting my mother and I with her huge smile and warm words. Rest in peace, dear lady. Sending prayers for comfort to all during this difficult time.
Dear Alex, Sandra, Melinda, George, Jim, and extended family,
Sadly, we just learned that Violette passed away last week. Please know that we loved her as a sister. She personified beauty, grace, and dignity in all aspects of her life. We will forever treasure her in our hearts and memories.
