I was lucky to grow up in Shoreham and have your family as part of that community. I remember how active Lorraine and Wayne were in 4-H. Wayne helped me with many projects in conservation. I always felt welcome in their home as one of the neighborhood kids.
I am very sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. The stories Kim used to tell about her dad were always enjoyable.
Your family is in my prayers.
The memories I have growing up with my Grandpa are forever etched. May you and Grandma dance in heaven and celebrate the legacy you created. Rest in peace.
I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. He was such a remarkable individual. I loved listening to Wayne and Carl Lehmann talk of their Ranger days. My Dad, who was in the 1st Battalion, B Company with Wayne, spoke of "Pop" with admiration.
I had the opportunity to meet and visit with Wayne for parent-teacher conferences in the early 70's when his daughter was in an elementary class I taught in Rossman School. He was a very impressive and interesting man.
