Kathy, my deepest condolences. Coach has such a profound effect on my life. I pray the God will give you peace as you go through this difficult time,
I am so sorry for your loss. Bill was a wonderful person and I was so lucky to have worked with him at Watchung Hills. He was a great coach, a caring teacher, and an excellent supervisor. Please accept my sincere sympathy. He will be missed by many.
I was deeply saddened when I learned of Bill's death. He was a wonderful man and a great high school coach. He was not only a rival, but a friend. He helped me in many ways in the early 70's and gained my utmost respect. We had many a great battle in cross country over the years and each one is a treasured memory. It was fitting that it was against Somerville that he gained his 300th victory. I remember the day very well. You have my condolences and prayers.

Mrs. Peiffer, I am truly sorry for your loss. Although I was introduced to Bill when I was a member of the WHRHS BOE, I really came to know him when he taught and coached my oldest son. As no one knows better than you, Bill was bestowed with many gifts, one of which was to make his students feel special and appreciated. He made a difference, a very positive difference, in the lives of so many children, mine among them. He will be greatly missed but remembered always with great affection. Believe me when I say, his legacy will shine brightly in all those many young lives he touched. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Mrs. Peiffer, I am sorry for your loss. Your husband was known to me as coach and Dr. Peiffer. He taught me math and he taught me how to run. I will never forget the years of being his student and his being my coach at WHRHS. A wonderful man - a caring and kind man. I am happy to have known him.
