Weber City, VA—Bobby Ray Necessary 67 of Weber City passed away early Monday morning October 28, 2013 at Ridgecrest Manor after a period of declining health.
He was born in Mabe Virginia and has resided most of his life in Scott Co. Bobby was a member of Weber City Church of God, a retired diesel mechanic and a veteran of U.S. Air Force. Bobby loved gospel music and was a good singer.
He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Thelma Ruth Shupe Necessary; three sisters Cassie Lee Necessary, Lucille Begley and Louise Starnes.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Necessary, of the home; sisters Glanelle Gillenwater and husband Howard, Gladys Begley, Peggy Rhoton; One brother Gary Necessary and wife Alice; step-daughter Lori Enoch; three step-granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 6-7 PM at Colonial Funeral Home, Weber City, VA.
Funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Preacher Jimmy Gose, Pastor Raymond Hammonds and Rev. Garnie Snavely officiating. Music will be provided by Charlene Gose.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, 11 AM October 31, 2013 at Hall Cemetery. Those wishing to attend graveside services are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50 AM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to too assist with funeral expenses.
