Doyle Bradberry Obituary

Doyle Herbert Bradberry, 85, walked through heaven's gates, Sunday, October, 9, 2011. Doyle was the youngest of three siblings; brother, James Ralph and sister, Mary Evelyn, born to Roberta and Jake Bradberry, December 5, 1925, in Hemphill. He was raised in San Augustine, and graduated from San Augustine High School. Doyle moved to Beaumont in 1943, and worked for Dollinger's and Bethlehem Steel, and retired after thirty-three and a half years of service. Doyle was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, where he served in many capacities over fifty years. He is survived by his loving wife of nearly sixty-six years, Rutheline Bradberry; sons, Doyle Herbert Bradberry, Jr. of Seguin and David Michael Bradberry and his wife, Anita of Austin; four grandchildren, Heather Bradberry Pannell and her husband, Jeff, Kristen Bradberry McCurdy and her husband, Dave, Jessica Bradberry Conquest and her husband, Evan, and Brittany Bradberry; two great-granddaughters, Katelyn Rose McCurdy and Anna Grace McCurdy; and one nephew, James Michael Bradberry. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother; sister; and his youngest son, Stanley Kent Bradberry. Doyle was a blessing and was blessed by his many friends and relatives, and will be missed dearly. Well done, good and faithful servant. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2011, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3810 North Major Drive, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, under the direction of Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at Broussard's. The Kitchen Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 3810 North Major Drive, Beaumont, Texas 77713. Complete and updated information may be found at: broussards1889.com.
