Sandra Duso Obituary
Of Dedham, October 13, 2011, in Boston. She is survived by her devoted, longtime life partner, J. Robert McLaughlin, PhD., of Dedham and his children, Lauren A. McLaughlin of Sydney, Australia, and Mark D. McLaughlin and his wife Alena M. of Barnstable, MA; her devoted cat "Tinker"; brothers, Robert Duso of Enosburg Falls, VT, and John Duso and his wife Perri of Burlington, VT; a sister and her husband, Carolina and Myrl Jaquith of St. Joe, FL; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Lawler and Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St., WEST ROXBURY, MA 02132 on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sandra's Memory may be made to : Office of Development for Breast Cancer Research, Beth Isreal Hospital, 330 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215. Please make notation on check: "In Memory of Sandra J. Duso". Late Registered Nurse, Field Liason with Medical Resources of Newton, MA.

I met Sandy 16 years ago when I bought the condo unit next to hers. I never had a better, kinder or upbeat neighbor. She helped me start my garden, and I watch over the plants she left behind. Her pictures still hang on the walls of our building. I will miss her deeply, but I will see what part of her she left behind every day. May she find great peace in eternal rest.

I worked with Sandy many years ago at Serono and have many fond memories of her wisdom, her humor, her generosity and the kindness and empathy with which she treated everyone. She was a special lady... I will keep her in my prayers.

So sorry to hear of sandy's death. We went to school together and although I hadn't seen her in about 30 yrs, i remember all the good times we had and what a pretty, smart and nice person. My sympathy to the family.

Sandy & I were in Nursing School together at MFH in the '60's, then she was one of the notorious seven nurses at 67 Spring Street in Burlington as as started our first jobs out of Nursing School. Many many memories of Sandy. My sincerest Sympathy. Jean White Dickerson
