March 15, 2012, beloved wife of the late George Wasinger; dear mother of Mary, Robert, Joseph (Mary), Thomas, Richard, Joanne, Karen, Gerianne Wasinger and the late James; grandmother of eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister of Sr. Virginia Frick, Elizabeth Ryan, William (Diane) Frick, Mary Lou (Thomas) Bitterman; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9, at the DIETRICH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2480 Kensington Ave., where services will be held on Monday at 10:15 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Timothy Church, 565 East Park Dr., Tonawanda, 14150 at 11 AM. To all of my dear cousins,
I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Joan. She was such a beautiful person and was the sweetest lady. I will always have fond memories of her and of our family gatherings many years ago. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. If you ever need to talk, let me know.

Mrs. "Waz" was always friendly and kind to myself and my family, even though I may not have deserved it much when I was young. Mine and my family`s thoughts are with her and her whole family. As my mother always said, with respect to her raising 7 kids, and just being a good person, "God bless her."
