Joyce was such an important part of my life during our high school years. She was such a kind and loyal friend. During spring break of our senior year we went to the Bahamas together. It is one of my fondest memories and will continue to be. She made it so incredibly fun. I will never forget what joy and good times she brought to my life. Thank you Joyce.

Joyce and I were friends during a formative part of our lives so her impression is strong. She was always willing to laugh and her creativity was refreshing. And now her mortal body is gone and yet she continues to be my very good friend and guide to me. She was intensely alive and in this moment she strangely continues to be.
