Dear Jim and Sue
Sue you probably do not remember me but you talked on the phone with my mom about Dylan staying at my house and hanging out. He was one of the most amazing people to ever be brought into this world and i just want you guys to know that my love is always out for you. I think about this and you guys everyday and you will forever have the honor of having the greatest kid to be alive.

To Dylan's family: Our son Abram knew Dylan from snowboarding years ago. We are so sorry for your loss. Abe is traveling now, when he learns of Dylan's death he surely will be shocked and sad. Our deepest sympathy to your family, Merle and Don Weinberg

Although I never met Dylan, through our chats, I felt the bond the two of you had. He clearly was a wonderful kid who also had a fantastic skill in snowboarding. I'm very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I didn't have the privelege of getting to know Dylan. I do know that he touched the life of my daughter, Alison Russell, immensely. She is deeply saddened and I pray she finds the strength to stay strong. Dylan, may you R.I.P. and I thank you so much for being such a positive influence in my daughter's life. She remembers you a great deal and the way you effected her life so positively!! God has another wonderful angel up there now!!!!

The beautiful Peters family,
I only know Dylan from being a patient @ Associates in Orthodontics, but what a wonderfully nice son u raised! He always had a great attitude and sweet personality when he was in!! His bright smile will be remembered on those bright sunny days out-cause that will mean Dylan is smiling down on us!! I'm so sorry for your loss,

My heart goes out to you and your family. I will always think of Dylan as an amazingly talented, admirable , and kind-hearted young man. In the time I spent with Dylan I developed great respect for his kindness, confidence, intelligence, and humor. You are both exceptional people and parents, and Dylan’s impeccable character, as well as his athletic and academic successes speak to just that.
I do now and will always miss him terribly. I keep him and your family in my prayers each and every day. I’m terribly saddened by the loss of such a vibrant, and memorable young man. I know the entire Vermont community and everyone else whose life he touched greatly miss him, and will forever remember him with the utmost regard for his brilliance. Our deepest sympathies to you, Dustin and Danielle. Dylan always had a smile on his face throughout the years that I had know him. Coaching him in soccer and other sports was a joy. Dear Jim and Sue, I remember when we took our kids to the park during a Vestal visit many years ago. While my youngest son and daughter were cautiously experimenting with the slide, Dylan was leaping off the top of the tallest playground castle...and landing it perfectly. He was a free spirit; one of those rare untamed souls who shows the rest of us how to live. The world is a better place because of the people he touched while he was here. Thank you for being wonderful parents and sharing him with us.

What a wonderful obit to be able to give our teenager who knew Dylan. How remarkable that parents who have lost a child before his time can find generosity of spirit in how they remember their son as well as choosing the gift of life to others with organ donation. Such parents are undoubtedly the reason Dylan was such an outstanding young man.

I only just got to know him this season at Waterville, and he was a very talented snowboarder on the slopes. He was determined to reach his goals, and truly had a heart of gold. He was a good friend to me, especially when I was struggling with the loss of a really close friend, and I will always remember him for the kindness that he spread to others. Though a terrible loss, his spirit and willingness to help others will be with us forever. We will miss you in Waterville. I ride for Dylan. Rest in peace, never to be forgotten.

It is so hard to find the words to express the magnitude of my sympathy to the Peters family. I knew Dylan a few hours before and again a few hours after he was born (see him here checking out my two Therapy Dogs of Vermont). He became my Dogson & I his Dogdaddy.
