Dear Marion, Jill, Bill and Families
We are so deeply saddened to read of Sterling's passing. Our deepest condolences to all the family at this most difficult time. Take comfort in knowing that Sterling has gone to his home in heaven to be with his boys Bob and Kelly. Hold all those wonderful memories with Sterling close to help you through the coming days and weeks. Sterling will be deeply missed in the community.

We were shocked & saddened to hear of Mr. Hobbs' death. He was a great man & will be missed by many. Our grandsons still talk about going in to the mill on Saturday mornings to get a treat.Our thoughts & prayers are with you.

A part of my heart is broken and hurting...with Sterling's passing. Most won't understand, but Sterling was the last person to be with my dad, that November 3rd day back in 1975 when I guess God thought it was time to take my dad, Billy.
But he left for me, his family and everyone...someone who couldn't of been a finer man than, Sterling.
Sterling showed me one day a few years back that in his shirt pocket or inside jacket pocket he always carried a pic of my dad and a pic of Kelly...and I was so moved but not surprised.
For Sterling had the biggest heart of anyone I have ever known...
And was the most generous man...
If there are Horse Races in Heaven, I know where my Dad and Sterling will be.
Bobby and Kelly will welcome their dad home...both taken too early, time to catch up.
Sterling say hi to my Dad for me please...36 years later, not a day goes by when I don't so miss him...xo Judy

When visiting Shawville last September, it made me sad to see "the mill" closed. Always loved the chats, friendly smiles and often teasing by Sab when I was in there. Great memories to cherish.
