James Wrast Obituary

James Robert Wrast, 62, passed away December 8, 2012 in Canon City, Colorado. He was born in Libertyville, Illinois on August 13, 1950 to Jesuel and Shirley (Hicks) Wrast. James was a veteran of the U. S. Marines. He enjoyed fishing with his Uncle Bob, target shooting, and spending time with man's best friend, "Mendi". He was also passionate about building and flying remote controlled airplanes. Mr. Wrast is survived by his parents, Jesuel and Shirley Wrast; daughter, Lisa (Rickey) Bryan and their children, Jordan and Breeyn; son, Mark (Monica) Wrast and their children, Tanner and Trevor; brother, Dick (Roxy) Wrast and children, Jenny and Jon; Uncle Bob Hicks; and long time girlfriend Caroll Flynn. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frieda and Earl Hicks. Memorial Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 14, 2012 at Holt Chapel of the Garden in Canon City with Reverend Eric Feuerstein officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society at 110 S. Rhoades, Canon City, CO 81212 Arrangements handled through Holt Family Funeral Home.
