Daddy - I thought this feeling of loss was supposed to subside, but I find myself missing you more these days than usual. I've thought of a million things I wished I'd asked and I constantly see things I'd like to tell you about and discuss with you. You'd be amazed at your grandkids and their kids. What we're going through in 2020 is something I'm glad you don't have to live through. You'd be proud of my little garden. I still love you with all my heart.

We are deeply saddened by Jim's passing. You were the best neighbor any family would be honored to have. You were not only a great neighbor but a true friend and a "member" of our family. We thought of you as a grandfather. We will always remember you proudly working in your beloved garden, sitting in your garage sharing stories and jokes, helping us and many others with their car problems and our fishing trips to Leesville Lake. We knew how proud you were to annually display the American flag to show your patriotism. We will never forget your kindness, your warm smile and you will be sadly missed.. Bettie, please take comfort that you and your family are always in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. God bless
