We extend our deepest sympathy to the Zampieri family, particularly to JoAnn, whom we feel the closest. Mr. Zampieri was, in 1959, one of the first male teachers I had experienced. He was a great Ohio History teacher, a super football coach, and a most caring individual who was as concerned about your success in class as he was concerned about your success in life. RIP Mr. Z.

Mr. Zampieri was one of the best educators and role model a school system could ever ask for due to his caring and understanding for his students. I also was an Ohio History Student at Northwest in the 70's, and this gentleman cared so deeply about his students. He encouraged the student's success not only in the 7th grade but years to follow. He would always ask me about my educational goals and career as recenlty within the past year. He truly has left a legacy behind. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Mr Zampieri was my Ohio History teacher as well. I owe my love of history and its importance in life to him. He is one of my most admired teachers of the Northwest Community. He will be missed but not forgotten by many, many students.

When we moved in next door to Joe 11 years ago I never dreamed that he would become like a second father to me. He was like a grandfather to my boys. Teaching them to shoot and work with power tools. Always teaching them safety first. Joe was the one I went to when I needed to talk because he would always give me level headed answers even when I just wanted him to agree with me :) He could always make me smile with his jokes and comments even when I was having a bad day. He was the Mr. Fix It when someone needed something. ALWAYS there for everyone, any time. There is such a void in the neighborhood and in our lives.

We love you and we miss you Joe!!

To the Zampieri family,
Mr. Zampieri was my Ohio History teacher back in the eighties and my husband's as well. Whenever we think of our school days, we always talk of Mr. Zampieri and what a great teacher he was and how super-friendly he was. We have a lot of teachers while growing up and many of them are forgettable, but Mr. Zampieri will always be fondly remembered by many.

Dear Zampieri Family,

Joe was assigned to be my "Buddy Teacher" in my first year at Northwest Intermediate School in 1972. Truly, Joe was everybody's buddy! He was a great educator and such a wonderful guy! He touched so many lives through the years and will most certainly be missed by anyone who knew him. Rest in peace, Joe.
