Evelyn Thomas Obituary
80 of Massillon died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012 at the Legends of Massillon. Evelyn was born in Canton, was a life resident of the area and a graduate of Canal Fulton High School. She had been employed by the D & K Store in Massillon, where she had been manager and was a member of the Anchor Baptist Church, Massillon.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James B. Thomas; daughter, Shelley Jordan of Massillon; son, James A. Thomas of North Lawrence; four grandchildren, Kevin (Karen) Jordan, Kelly Jordan, Keith (Anna) Jordan and Kerry (Dustin Smith) Jordan; nine great grandchildren, Kaylee, Laney, Andrew, Carson, Landon, Dominik, Alyssa, Lacie and Kali; her beloved pets, K.C. and Tigger.
Funeral service, TUESDAY 2:30 p.m. at the Swigart-Easterling Funeral Home , 624 E. Cherry St. (Rte. 93, Canal Fulton) with Pastor Danny L Grine, Jr. officiating. Burial Canal Fulton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, TUESDAY one hour prior to time of service.

Jim - my heartfelt sympathy is with you at this very ROUGH time since Evelyn's passing.
She was a "dear sweet" lady after 58 years together you were aware of. She also had the "prettiest" smile and seemed to be a bright beam at her table in the dining room here at The Legends.
May our great GOD grant you the peace and strength you will need at this time. Also in your future days here on Earth till you can once again see your loving wife to spend eternity with.
Much love to the most dedicated man I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.
