I never had the honor of meeting Maggie Duffy but I did have the honor of receiving two of her beautifully crafted blankets. They came with my 2 precious fluffs from SPR. She seemed to be at the hand of the Lord for all the wonderful work she did that made so many people feel so blessed.

Maggie Duffy will always be some special in my house. My first bichon from Spr came to my house with a special bichon on it. The blanket is here and still in use. I recently got another bichon with a blanket and felt it came from her as well. She sure is going to be surrounded by many loved ones, any many bichons surrounding her Jeanne Montross The Villages FL

We will all miss Maggie for her love of animals and her wonderful sense of humor. Maggie was a bright spot on the SPR "Bee" where we all loved her. I know she was met in Heaven by wagging tails and by Tom. Thinking of the family as you cope with the loss of a wonderful woman.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Maggie but felt I knew her through the Blankeers. She was a faithful defender of our mischievous fluffs never letting us forget that if they chewed up something it was our fault for not putting it away. I was not fortunate enough to ever have met this wonderful lady. However, I was blessed to know through the Blanketeers for SPR and her love for these little white dogs was so touching. She will be greatly missed.

Maggie was an angel one earth and is now with all the wonderful bichon angels at the bridge. My little rescue girl, sleeps with her SPR blankie every night because of special people like Maggie. Our prayers are with Maggie's family during this difficult time.

Our deepest sympathy for your family. Every time we received a "blankie" for a foster we adopted I could feel the love it was made with, and each dog just seemed to know it was theirs. Saddened to hear that Maggie has gone home to God. My sweet Junie received her blanket by the time I picked her from the airport. That was almost 5 years ago and she still has her blanket in her bed. Maggie was one of the BEST, as a Small Paws Rescue volunteer. She was one of an elite group, The Blanketeers, who made quilts for each adopted Bichon. They are all made with hard work and love.
