Scott,
I miss you every day that passes. I know you are looking down on us and watching over Ash. One day we will meet again in heaven. You were my best friend. My one true love. My heart aches every day. You inspired me to be the best person I could possibly be. You believed in me, when I didn't. I am forever greatful for our years spent together. You will always hold a very special place in my heart.
With love,

Your boy is getting so big. Has it been 9 months since I heard your voice? Ashton and I talk about you. You are so proud of him, I know you see him. He says,"I have a Mom and a Dada." And I say, Yes, you do. Your Dada is watching over us and protecting us. He is up there right by the MOON with God and the Angels. You were the love of my life.

Linda, Russ, & family...
So many years shared, so many memories.
I can comprehend just how sad you must feel
For the loss of your son.
This is a sorrowful time that may still feel unreal
And you’re looking for strength.I hope, from my heart, that your pain will decrease,
That your spirit will gain strength again,
And your faith will create inner peace
Till then, if you need me to lighten your load,
I’m waiting to come to help in anyway.
Just call on me, and I’ll walk down that road,
Until the dark times start to fade.

Deep condolences, Patty

Scott - I've never met anyone as worthy of IRONMAN as you. You are an inspiration. The finish line came much much too soon.

Linda, Russ and Family. There are no words to express the loss of a son or family member that is loved unconditionally. You were so handsome and sweet and would make time for your older aunts (me) in Vegas when I know you would rather be out clubbing. You had such great manners and would make any parent proud. I wish I could find the right words to comfort your family but know we will never forget you and will be in our hearts forever.

Jewell & Jerry Jamison

If we can ever do anything for you Linda or Russ please let us know. My heart is breaking for you too. Scott & Lisa are in total shock and denial but God needed another angel. We all miss you.
Love, your cousin Jewell

Linda and Russ, What can one say to parents who have lost their child? Its beyond comprehension as to why God does this and the truth is we may never know for sure "why". But we do know there is no single "should have done" or "could have done" that would have changed that "why" because you two gave Scott the most precious gift of life and that is LOVE. Your love was reflected in Scott's actions and his kindness towards people and his gentleness toward you. Scott is in heaven now with God along with David and Fay where he will be showered with love and affection. With Deepest Sympathy. Bob Dube

Scott, we all miss you, love you and will never forget you. This still doesn't seem real. Such a tragedy at such a young age. I have great memories of our younger years. Aunt Linda and Uncle Russ, again I'm so sorry and am here for you if you need anything. We all love you very much.

August 30, 2011

Dearest Linda & Russ,
Although I did not personally know Scott, I knew him through you. Our children are not our own, but as we shape their lives, they shape ours, and because of that, I know this world will miss a fine young man.
I pray that God will fill the void in your hearts with the peace of wonderful memories and the joyful expression of Scott's life named Ashton. God bless you both,
Paula Jones

Such a tragedy that has happened way too soon. We all miss you Scott. This just doesn't seem real. Please know that we all have great (and funny) memories of you and we will never forget you. You will always be in my prayers. Aunt Linda and Uncle Russ...please let me know if you need anything! We are thinking of you and love you guys!

Scott, I promise to take care of our little boy and tell him stories about you. What an absolute gift that you and I had peace and we could play with Ashton together and love him together before God took you in to HIs arms. We always said that there are no two people besides you and I that could love him in that special way a parent does. I'm so grateful you had the chance to experience what it feels like to have absolute unconditional love for another being. I have loved you since the moment I met you and I see you every time I look at our son. Love, Erin

Scott, I miss you. I know you are in God's care. I will take care of this little boy of ours and make sure he knows you're looking down on him and keeping him safe from scary thunderstorms at night. He says he misses you and that Da-da is his best friend. I loved you from the second I met you, nearly 6 years ago, when I saw that beautiful smile across the table at Tsunami on State Street. Your energy, your charisma, it filled entire rooms...Ashton has your same energy. Goodbye, but not forever...Love, Erin
