Vincent Pacula Obituary
Vincent L. Pacula, age 84 of Steger, IL, passed away on Dec. 2, 2011. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen, nee Ulman, 2005. Survived by his beloved children, Patricia "Trish" Knisley, Vincent A. "Butch" (Lori) Pacula, Mary (Angelo) Scardullo and Carol (Sam) Spagnola; cherished grandfather of Brian (Gina) and Jenni Pacula, John Knisley, Olivia and Giovanna Scardullo and Isabella Spagnola; fond brother of Stephania Verrecchia and the late Helen Goralski; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Vincent was the CEO of Chicago Heights Brass Foundry, belonging to American Society Metal, Nonferrous Foundry Association Chicago, and Illinois Manufacturers Association. Vincent was a member of Chicago Accordion Club, Polish American Club, Catholic War Vets, 50 year volunteer on Millerwoods Fire Department, St. Joseph Holy Name Society, Moose Lodge, Knight of Columbus, IPA, Polish American Community Fair and Polish Falcons Nest 42. Vince served proudly in the US Army with National Defense, Service Medal, and Good Conduct Metal also serving in the US Navy. Visitation on Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 2 until 8 p.m. at the Crete Funeral Home, 1182 Main St., Crete, IL. Funeral Service on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Patty and Butch,
Sorry to hear of your Mom and Dad departing. I stumbled across your Dads Obit while looking at my Dad's and moms Obit entries. They had passed away within 15 months of each other. Hard to take! We are all orphans now, and it doesnt feel good! My heart goes out to you and all of your families...Take care...

I live down the street from Mr. Pacula and would run into him while walking my dog. He was always working on his yard and quite friendly to me, even though my dog would pee on his flowers. He would say that it helped them grow. My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family. He is missed in the neighborhood.

Dearest Family of two of the most Heartfelt Polish People I have ever met and having the pleasure of knowing along with their beloved children.
