Walter G. "Wally" McNeela, age 64, of Carol Stream; beloved father of Dawn (Scott) Stanley, Danielle (Scott) MacKay and Jeffrey; fond grandfather of Ethan, Grace, Claire, Ava, Cal and Brady; brother of Margaret (the late Tom) Killeen and the late John "Jack" and Catherine Pratt; many nieces, nephew, relatives and friends. Visitation Sunday, Dec. 26 from 2 p.m. until time of service 5 p.m., at Brust Funeral Home, 415 N. Gary Ave., Carol Stream. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the E. D. I. I met Wally in 1977 when I went to work for the Wooddale Police Dept. He taught me a lot and really cared about people. I'm sorry for your loss and Wally will be in our prayers.
