Dear Chad,Josh,Rupe-I have just found of Dal's passing.Time ,distance and circumstance has kept us from contact for many years.
We were friends and co-workers during hard times in both of our lives.
Your fathers open and direct point of views.influenced me and others in our life's journey.
A genuine artistic thinker and talent, surrounded by many others of the time, showed a different light,in which to view life, art, and dedication.
His love of his sons was without question, and set example for fellow parents.
I will treasure having known, and being friends with your father, until the day that I too will pass.
My deepest condolences to you and your entire family.

Kaneohe,Hawaii

Dear Jan,Chad & Josh,
Stunned to hear of Dalton's passing while I am out of state, so can't attend memorials, but for 30 years admired Dalton as an artist, danced to his beat and will miss him sorely every time I enter Spencer. He was a warm and kind man whose smile and greeting made the day better for many. My deepest sympathies on your loss.

To all of Dalton's family and friends,
I had the privilege of working one Saturday of each month for more than a decade at the Spencer with Dalton, and loved hearing about his art projects and his music. His enthusiasm was contagious. When he learned I was a basketball fan, and then that I was involved in dog rescue, we had to be sure we paid more attention to visitors than our discussions. I am honored to have known him, and hope to join you in celebrating his life on Sunday.

Jan, Chad and Josh,
While visiting at your home or seeing Dalton at our youth sporting events, he always brought excitement and the thought of endless possibilities. With his rich voice and big grin, he genuinely believed that we could do anything we put our minds to, so much that we began to believe it too. He was a vibrant and talented man that made lasting impressions everywhere he went. May God bless you and comfort you with warm memories.
