Aaron, just saw your family's tragic story on TV and was so glad to find that you have kept her guest book online and open. Please accept my sincere condolences for the loss of your Mom. I have such compassion for you and cannot even begin to comprehend the emotional roller coaster that you and your loved ones have suffered through knowing that your beautiful Mom was taken from you by a child (and your sibling) that she gave life to. My heart aches for you and your Mom's sisters. I will say a special prayer for all of you. Respectfully, Susan B.

I just learned of Sheila's passing. Sheila and I were roommates for 2 years at Garden City Junior College in 1971.
I have such fond memories of her from that time. Since then
we have always kept in touch at Christmas for 40 years. So
I am deeply saddened by this. My thoughts and prayers are
with her family

I was just thinking about Sheila a few weeks ago. I saw her and Harley walkin at Lake Shawnee. I am glad that I was able to visit with her and introduce her to my fiance. I worked at St Francis for a very long time and I really enjoyed Sheila's company. She was a very caring and wonderful lady. I will really miss her sense of humor. God Bless you young men that lost your mother. I know she loves you very much. My prayers are with all of you. Merilee Meier (Topeka, KS.)

I am so heartsick to learn of Sheila's death. I was a classmate of Rhonda's in school. My younger brother had a crush on Sheila for the longest time during those years. As with others I saw Rhonda and Sheila last year in Ulysses at the all alum reunion. My sincere sympathy and condolences to the entire family. I know our loving Creator is ever present and even moreso now during this most awful tribulation. May his strength and love lift you up and enable you to keep on. Frances (Carter) Smith

I had the pleasure of working with Sheila for several years at St. Francis before moving on to finish college in Manhattan. I will always remember how beautiful she always looked and how her eyes lit up when I told her I had seen Aaron out and about. She was a wonderful person and her family meant the world to her. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Condolences and prayers to her family in this trying time.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Sheila well, but was a classmate of her sister, Rhonda. Last year at an all class reunion back in Ulysses, a number of us gathered together at our hotel at the end of the evening's activities and reminisced about old times. It will be the memory I will keep of Sheila in my mind forever. Rhonda, I am so sorry for your loss and I will keep your entire family in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

I continue to be in a state of shock over this senseless and tragic loss.

I knew Sheila to be one of the most gentle, caring, generous and honest women I have ever known. I shared her enthusiasm as she took on a new job and learning more about photography. My sincerest condolences to her friends and family who like me are probably searching for an answer for why this happened.

Her voice and laughter will echo in my mind from this day on.

Rest in peace, Sheila.

I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. I went to school in Ulysses with her and have not seen her since I left in 1970. I still remember her vividly and it appears she was still the same sweet person she was back then.

September 14, 2011

Sheila and I were email buddies. I met her at a tradeshow I was doing with her ex-husband Bill. She and I got fake tattoos and she was a sweet and delightful woman. We had so much fun that we have kept in touch via email ever since. We had plans to meet in Las Vegas one day and sadly that never happened. I send my prayers and condolences to her family.
