Kim McFaddin Obituary

Kim McFaddin Resident of San Ramon Kim Russell McFaddin born July 20th 1940 passed away at his home in San Ramon, CA of natural causes. Kim was born in Wichita Kansas and moved to Douglass with his family. He graduated from Kansas State University. He was a man with an unquenchable thirst for life and love for his country and fellow man. Kim had a long career with Union Pacific Railroad in Omaha Nebraska and San Francisco. He later moved on to Safeway's traffic division in Walnut Creek. He spent several years with Padilla Construction and retired two years ago. Kim was also a very proud veteran of the United States Navy. His interests included anything mechanical, computers and basically sharing his love for life by helping other people. People always enjoyed his giving nature and sense of humor. He was involved with many civic organizations over his lifetime. Kim is survived by his wife Monzelle Heintz McFaddin of 47 years, Daughter Monique McFaddin, Grandson Joeseph McFaddin, Son James McFaddin and his wife Kathryn, Grandsons Zackery and Christian and Great Grandson Vincent. There will be a celebration of life for Kim's family and friends at the community center in San Ramon's central park , 12501 Alcosta Blvd San Ramon, CA on October 9th 2011 from 2- 6 p.m.

Sadly the world has lost a wonderful man. Kim was like a second father to me growing up, he was a brilliant man that just happened to live next door to me, lucky me! I loved him like a father too and I will miss him dearly. My Love to Mom, Jim and Monique.
