Debbie,Kelly & Corey sorry to hear of your loss. Every time I came back home Jack was the first person I would go see. We grew up together, worked together and spent a lot of time talking at the Fire Dept. Jack was one
of the most honest men I have ever met.

Jack was a kind and thoughful man.It has been a few years since we have seen each other. We were in the reserves together. He brought his boat to camp one year and put it in a garage at a local filling station until we had time to use it.We had a great time. I think about our time in the reasrves a lot. My prayers go out for your family and the days ahead.

As a young firefighter Jack was a pleasing sole around many hard fellows. I remember the games we played after duty hours. Jack loved volleyball. Always a smile and words of kindness. My prayers to the Family.

Many years has passed since I have seen Jack, but on e-mail we reunited. I always thought I would visit when I

My thoughts and prayers are with his family. My father, Ralph Rose, drove the Z-1 when Butch Torrie drove Jack Carter's 37, and we were all friends. I have so many fond memories of them working together on the stock cars. God bless you all.

RIP Jack, my first memoirs of Jack was him driving a riding lawn mower on the sidewalk in front of his house in Fox Hill. He always had a kind word and a smile to start a conversation with others.

So very sorry to learn of the untimely passing of Jack. He was so very supportive of our KHS '68 & '69 reunions. He and Debbie donated a beautiful banner that we continue to use each time. We will think of him and his generous spirit next year when we have our 45th. We extend our sincere sympathies to Debbie and the entire family during this time of sorrow and loss. Bonnie and Alley

Any time I came back to Hampton, I always made a point of stopping off at his shop to chat. I was usually there for at least two hours just catching up and discussing the current state of the city. Jack was a truly likeable man whose untimely passing saddens me greatly. John H Bell (Danville)
