Mildred BOONE-WINFIELD Obituary
She united in holy matrimony to Samuel Winfield. She was a member of First Baptist Church Morrison.
On Jan. 23, 2012, God plucked a beautiful flower for his heavenly garden by selecting Millie. She leaves to mourn her devoted husband, Sam; two daughters, Erica (Shawn) and Keisha (Robert); a son, Tony; a stepdaughter, Stacey (Eric); one sister, Margaret Woods; one brother, Donald Boone; four grandchildren and many family and friends.
Mrs. Winfield visitation will take place from 10 to noon on Saturday, Jan. 28, and the funeral will take place at noon at First Baptist Church Morrison, 12720 Patrick Henry Drive, Newport News.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the grandchildren college fund.

To Margaret and the extended Boone and Winfield family, we were so blessed to become acquainted with Mildred. Her beautiful spirit will be missed. She was a brave woman in her failing health, even strengthening our faith in God by her acts of worship, praise, and prayer. He has selected for Himself a mighty soldier. May God bless you all.
