Paul Pace Obituary
Paul Allen Pace, 42, passed away December 10, 2011 in Magna, Utah.
Born September 3, 1969 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married the love of his life, Susan Renae Sessions, September 20, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah; later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple. He adored his children, grandchildren and was very proud of them. Loved to hunt and fish, was an amazing cook and a good gardener.
Survived by his wife, Susan; children: Chris (Kelly) Dowland, Jeremy (Allison) Dowland, Annie Brooks, Sarah (Ryan) Welling, Ryan (Josie) Dowland; grandchildren: Gabi, Isobel, Lorelei, Meredith, Cole, Hailee, Sophie, Kysen; mother, Ruth Bisel Lopez; brother, Dwane (Konnie) Burden; sister, Donna Jensen. Preceded in death by his father, Jay Lopez; brother-in-law, Dave Jensen.
A celebration of his life will be held Friday, December 16, 2011, 12:00 noon at the Spencer 2nd Ward, 8059 West 2700 South, Magna, UT. Viewings will be held Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Friday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.

Susan and family,I just found out today! My heart breaks for you and this sudden, shocking loss! Paul will be sorely missed. I loved his quiet wonderful sense of humor. Consider yourself hugged so hard, prayed for, thought of, and loved from over here in West Valley. We are so, so sorry. What a blessing he was to you. He is such a wonderful man. What a blessing it is to have the "experience" of Paul in my life. He is an amazing man full of love, compassion, service and example, who...along with all of you, helped me through the hardest time of my life. He truly was an angel here on earth. Now as you face such a difficult and sad time, allow his neverending love and the love of your Savior to carry you through. I've never known a man to love and adore his wife with the passion he had for you. He was never afraid to vocalize his love for his beatiful Susan.
I've never known a man with more love and pride for his kids & grandkids. He was always sharing stories and pictures of your precious babies. He spoke often that his family was his greatest joy in life.
Paul was such a good man. I am sincerely with all my heart so so so sorry for your loss.

I will always remember my memories with Paul growing up. Been thinking about many of them the last couple of days, wish I could have seen him one last time but know we will see each other again. Praying for comfort to Susan, Ruth, and all those shocked by this unexpected loss.

My heart is drawn with sadness for each of you. I never saw Paul without a smile and he always offered kind words the times I was at a gathering with you. There are no words to describe how my heart feels knowing your lost of such a compassionate man. The words people have offered are a testimony of who he was.
One thing for sure, you have comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering or in pain and he is waiting for you in the loving arms of his Savior. May the love Paul had for each of you carry you through the days ahead. My life was instantly better the day Paul became a part of it. The sound of his laugh is forever ingrained in my memory. He not only had this amazing way of making one feel like they were a part of his family, but making them feel loved beyond measure.
