The Final Salute
“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.
This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Adam Charles Muffler our Brother in Arms. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Adam. And to Adam it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for his service in support of Operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedoms and for the selfless sacrifices he made for his country while serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. No greater love and patriotism is shown than a man dedicate his life in service to his country. Adam, you are a brave Marine and Army Warrior and a true Patriot. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at ease. Rest in Peace.
On behalf of the 1,261 military veteran Legionnaires of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion in Shreveport, Louisiana, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Adam's family and loved ones.

I only knew Adam through a softball team he played for. Although it was for only a short time, in that time he proved to be a good guy and to his team mates a great friend. His service to this country will not be forgotten and as someone who went through a very similar thing not more than 2 years ago my very deepest sincere condolences. Prayers sent for you all.
Your loss is felt by many people. Not all will understand or relate to your loss. Adam gave to his country. Not just Adam but his wife and his family have given as well.
My prayer is that you all will find comfort and peace in God. He understands and is big enough to carry you as well as to bring you through this deep heartbreak step by step.
So very sorry for your loss and yet so grateful for the service given . Thank you!
My heartfelt sympathy for your loss. Adam left us much too soon! Penny, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Greg and Mary,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your son Adam. I have always believed that faith consists in believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe. You have to believe that Adam was here for a purpose and your connection as parents will never be broken and will live on forever.
May God give your family peace of mind and heart in this difficult time!
I am so sorry for your loss. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I have a son in the Air Force. I heard about this through the Crossing Church. I did not know Adam but I think him for his service to our country. Take care. Laura Lonati

Although I haven't spoken to him in awhile I was always worried about Adam and Roy's safety when they were overseas. I'm sorry for not keeping in touch like I should have. Best wishes to all his family and friends. Much love to you all.
My love for you will always be there, until death due us part, and baby I'm here to rock your legend and story 'til the day I die. Adam, I love you so much! I just wish that I could have told you much more than I was able to. You are an amazing person and your soul will stick with not just me but all of the family for eternity. I guess there won't be anymore Jehnna-sandwitches, but all memories with you will be in the back of my mind until I get to you once again. R.I.P I love you!!
My sweet, sweet cousin. I love and miss you so much. You were a true warrior with the heart of a lion, but those who knew you saw simply a magnificent heart of gold. You will never be forgotten and your infectious smile will always be what I think of when I think of you. May you find true peace and know that not a day will go by that we won't all think of you. Give Daniel our love and may the two of you watch over us until we see you again. Love you and miss you always. - Becky
