So sorry to hear of his passing. He was a good guy.
Sally, Lindsey and Scott, I have been trying to find the right words to say to try to tell you how sorry we are about your loss. The flood of memories that came rushing in when I started thinking about all the years of driving back and forth between houses, watching our kids grow up, is phenomenal. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Alan was a great friend...a great American...and my insurance agent for 20+ years...he will be greatly missed!
Dear Sally, I was deeply saddened this morning when I learned of your loss. I wish I had known in time to be able to attend Alan's memorial service.
Alan was our insurance agent for 30 years, and we relied on his wise advice many times, both personally and for our business. When my husband, Charles, died of a sudden illness in 2008, Alan was a great support and help to me as I faced decisions. I'm just stricken that he is no longer there as my agent--there will never be another one like Alan. He had integrity and I knew I could trust his advice 100%. He was a wonderful man in so many ways. His love and care for you and the children was always so obvious. What a terrible loss for all the family.
My heart breaks for you as you face the difficult days ahead. May God give you His special comfort and peace.
Sincerely, Paula Crawford
Oh how we will miss him! His stories, smiles, laughter will remain with us forever. Mom's remembrances of the times in Braymer and Colorado have helped us deal with the sorrow. So happy my Alan and Julie got to share in his legacy with our families. Just wish there could have been more,
love to you Susan Farrar von Gremp

My dear Sally & family: Gary & I are so very sorry to hear the news of Alan's passing. We can only hope God gives you & the kids the strength to get through this difficult time. While we can't add anything to what's already been said, please know that our thoughts & prayers are with each & everyone one of you. We hope you are all are able to take comfort in knowing that Alan will live on in your children & grandchildren, your thoughts, your hearts & your memories. We will continue to keep you & the rest of the family & friends in our thoughts. With the support & love of family, friends & Gods arms surrounding you, all will be tolerable. Know that you & Alan came to our rescue last year at one of our darkest moments, evacuation from the Waldo Canyon fire. All the hotels were full & Alan graciously offered us & our pups your beautiful & most comfortable home. And you readily went along with it. You welcomed us as if we were family more than just clients of Alan's. For that, we will be forever grateful to you both. Welcoming virtual strangers into your home goes above & beyond what most agents will do. We owe you a debt we will likely not be able to repay but know that we will be there should you ever need anything. God bless friend. Please don't hesitate to call us should you need anything at all. Love you like family!
Jenny we are so sorry to hear of your loss. The loss of a sibling is profound and all the more when it is so untimely. We hope the outpouring of love and sympathy from so many people is a comfort to you. May his soul rest in peace.
Dear Sally, Scott, Lindsey, Jenny and Bruce. Our deepest sympathy. May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Hi Sally, Scott, and Lindsay,
I am struck by the outpouring of love, friendship, respect, and grief in the messages that are being posted in this guest book. So sorry to hear about Alan's sudden passing. Sally, I always look forward to seeing you and Alan in my office, and will miss him and his good humor. His stories of past and present were always entertaining with his usual understated tone, whether it was leaping out of a helicopter in full scuba gear or dealing with current issues at home. It was a real pleasure to have known him over the past seven years, and the memory he leaves behind will always bring a smile and thoughts of a man who made the world a better place.
Sally and family we are so sad to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May you feel our Lords loving arms wrapped tightly around each one of you during this time.

Dear Sally, Lindsay and Scott,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss.
Over the years I had several email contacts with Alan that mainly dealed with his role in the recovery of the Apollo 17 crew and the spaceship AMERICA.
He was blessed to be part of Project Apollo - not only US, but also mankind's greatest technical achievement.
Although we never met in person (it was planned for next spring), I feel like I have lost a close and good friend.
