MY CONDOLENCE TO THE PERNA FAMILY.
Dear Mrs Perna, Jane, Joe and Mike-
We have been neighbors of your dad's for 18 years. He was the kindest person. We loved sharing humor, advice, laughter and stories. He loved the figs from my mom's garden, and my kids loved to go help him with a chore or two when they were growing up. We shall miss him so very much, and will think of him every time we see his house. The neighborhood will not be the same, but the memories of his beautiful blue eyes and his contagious smile will be in our hearts forever.
Herb was a fine and gentle man, a person who you were always happy to see and talk too. Rest in peace...

Dear Ange: Our sincerest condolences to you and to all of the family.
Herbie was a good man and we know that God has welcomed him into Heaven.
He was a Great Man, a true Gem, a man of incredible love and compassion. Herb (Albert) Perna - truly there are few of his caliber, he touch many lives, he cared for everyone in his path...– to know him was a privilege, no doubt our relationships with him will last in our hearts forever. RIP Herbie...drive that jeep with your knees and smile the whole way!
I hope I thanked him for all he did and that we can all be thought of partially as fondly by those around us as those around him thought so highly of Herb as a man, a person, a friend, a brother, an Uncle, a father, and a husband and most importantly a source of great strength and guidance!
