Dear Auntie & Family, we are now home safely from our Caribbean Cruise and sorry we could not be there with you all during this sad time. Uncle Billy spoke with us on Monday, January 31st, insisting we continue with our plans to take the cruise, and that he would be up above watching down and smiling. We could sense his presence throughout the journey. He is now at rest, taking his final journey, and now for you Auntie and your family, you all are taking a new journey in life without Uncle Billy, but he is still with you all in your hearts and spirits. We pray that all of your will have the courage and strength in this new journey. We love you Auntie, we keep you and everyone in your family in our hearts during these times and beyond. We wanted to share a lovely photograph of the four of us in 2006 when we came to visit you before our marriage. This year will mark our fifth anniversary only a mere 10% of your 50th Anniversary this coming November. On your last trip to Canada in 2010 we talked about being with you both to celebrate that wonderful milestone. The smiles in the pictures says it all. "Live life to the fullest in the moment with the ones you love".

Take care, with huggs and love, your nephews, Peter & Petrus xoxoxooxoxo

Johanna and family, I worked with Bill for several years. Bill was a very devoted man to his family and a caring friend. He was a very thoughtful and kind person. Always so willing to help others. He had such a great personality and always smiling. What a legacy he left his family. Hold tight to your precious memories. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Judy Sprague, Killeen, TX

Uncle Billy was a kind and caring man, with a terrific sense of humour. He will always be remembered as "Bartender" to his nephew Fred. He could always make us laugh with his funny stories or outragious costumes. We are greatful that we have some wonderful memories of these last few summers. We will truly miss you. Aunt Johanna, Brigette, Norman and Christine, we wish we could be there with you but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Fred, Fran, Josh and Cameron.

I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that as people come forward that knew Mr. Bill and share their stories with you it will help you all to get through the days to come. Mr. Bill left a legacy and probably didn't even know it. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May God hold you and keep you in His loving arms.

Bill was a great guy, and one of the most patient and kind hearted guys I ever knew. I have many fond memories of growing up with his son Norman, and spent some time with them when Norman and I were kids, and later on after Norman and I finished out hitched in the military. Then a few times over the years, and most recently after I came hom from my tour in Iraq in '09. I'll miss him, and he will be missed by all who knew him. My heart and prayers go out to the entire family during this hard time.

Johanna and family....please take comfort in your memories of Billy in days to come; they will help. Billy was a wonderful husband, father and friend. His passing leaves a hole in all the lives he touched, for this reason he will be always remembered. Even though we only knew him for a few years, he was a part of our family...and family is forever. Billy, you will always be in our hearts...be at peace. Johanna and Brigitte, hugs to both of you; stay strong. Wish we could be there with you but know you are always in our thoughts. Norman and Christina, we have never met but have heard enough to feel that we know you both. Please know that you are also in our thoughts and prayers. Jeanne & John (Kitchener, ON)
