Fond memories come to mind of our days in Junior High/High School. I remember your kind spirit and warm smile. To all Andee's family; children and grandchildren, I was so saddened to hear of Andee's passing. Cherish the memories forever.
Andee and I were friends in High School. She was always so kind and so much fun. We had many great sleep overs at her house. Her life sounds so much like I would have predicted. I know she has a great place in Glory. Love and Blessings to her family.

As you may remember, I met Andee 40 years ago when she was a young woman just out of school looking for a job, and only months away from her wedding day. She only worked for me for a short while and we probably had only 5 or 6 hours of meaningful conversations, but she has remained a wonderful, wonderful memory ever since. She had such a beautiful and radiant spirit and even though I knew her only briefly many years ago, I always considered her a friend. I managed to run into her only once over the years, maybe 15 or 16 years ago. Remarkably, nothing had changed – she was still beautiful, her smile still warm and inviting, her joy, infectious and radiant. I am so sad to know she has gone and so very sorry for your loss.
Rhoda & I were blessed in our early marriage days by you and Andee on Normandy. We rejoice and grieve Andee's passing. Will be praying for you.
Dear Gentry, Baxter, Hilary, Anne, and George,
As a Cistercian and teacher of Gentry and Baxter, I had more than a few conversations with Andrea, aka, Mrs. Underwood. While we had our disagreements from time to time, I found her a woman of graciousness and concern for her two boys & their, at times, cantankerous English teacher. To have lost her so suddenly must be an especial kind of loss. Having seen both my parents die within 4 months of each other (Sept/2013 & Jan/2014), I have a bit of perspective on this difficult time. Please be assured of my prayers for the repose of her soul and of God's mercy on her and all of us.

I was attending a wedding in Georgia when I heard of Andee's passing. Words can not express how sad I am for your loss. It has been a number of years since our paths have crossed as we were in different stages of our lives, but I have fond memories of our times together exercising at 5:30 in the morn at the very small women's work out area. I looked forward to our daily visits and keeping up with all. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Growing up on Baxtershire Dr. and a year behind Andee at Hillcrest, I knew her to be always friendly, upbeat, never an unkind word. And I could tell by the testimony at her memorial service that she hadn't changed one bit over the years. Andee was simply delightful in every way!
Andee was such a bright light in this world! I am thankful that I knew her even in such a small way, and I am sure that every person who met her felt the same way. My prayers are with her family, who were so blessed to have her.
One moment she was talking to George. An instant later she was talking to Jesus. So like Andee! Rarely have I seen anyone able to treasure the moment like Andee did. It's no wonder everyone remembers her smile. She found a gift from God in just about everything and everyone she encountered.

I think Mrs. Underwood was a true light on earth for Jesus to everyone that met her. She had the best smile and although I wasn't around her much, I knew she was full of life and a really cool lady. Everyone loved her. My heart goes out to the all the loved ones she has left behind. Im praying for peace and comfort for you baxter, Hilary and your whole family. What a blessing to know, without a doubt, she is in heaven worshiping our Heavenly Father! You all have been on my heart and will continue to be.
Andee and I had just recently become friends...by accident! Somehow, her email address was in my contacts and when I went to email a different Andrea Underwood, I wrote to her instead. After a couple of confusing emails back and forth, we figured out what had happened and became pen pals. I always looked forward to seeing her name pop up in my inbox. She was thoughtful, sweet, and her love came through. She was praying for me and my family, and I her. I will miss you and our talks... She still owes me a talk over coffee, and I am going to hold her to it when I get to heaven! Miss you, friend!!

I had run into Andee not long ago after many years and her loving smile brought back so many memories of her faithful commitment to TCA while you were here. It was a profound honor to have known her and been inspired by her seemingly endless energy for life. I worked at the front desk in Dr. Dansby's office for 28 years and I loved it when Andee came in to see Dr. Dansby. She was so cute and fun and so much fun to talk to. I loved to hear about her family and what they were doing...in later years about her trips to see the grandchildren.
She was a delight and I am so sorry her life was cut short. I know she will be missed so much and I am thinking about you and about Andee today.
We are so sorry for this terrible loss to you and your family. She was too young to go, but at least she's held in love, and we hope that can bring you all some consolation.

Hank and I are heartbroken at this sudden loss. We have been on our knees holding your family in our prayers. It seems people like Andee leave such big holes because of the bigness of their service to Jesus. What a legacy she created for all of us to follow. You couldn't walk away from her without being filled with love and joy. She had an energy that she transfered to you. You seemed to have a little pep in your step after you had been with her. I want you to know I really admired her. Her Jesus light just keeps on shining through our memories .
My heart is broken for all of Andee's family and friends who will miss her grace, her spirit, her smile. Andee was a dear friend of my big sister from kindergarten through now. Growing up, I remember vividly Andee's constant smile, her infectious , positive personality, her radiant beauty. Being just the little sister, I had not seen her in decades, but “kept up” with her and her ever growing family every year at Christmas, pawing through my sister's Christmas cards. Each year the Christmas photo always embodied her beautiful spirit, which had indeed been passed on to her radiant children. I am particularly heartbroken for them, as they have lost an incredible mother, and their children (8, I hear) will no longer be able to soak up and enjoy the unbridled love of their dear grandmother. I will never forget my big sister's dear friend—-Andee was a shining light, full of life, full of smiles, full of laughs—-an amazing human being whose physical presence will be sorely missed by all those who were touched and graced by her too short life here on earth.

Andee and I were horse counselors at summer camp in 1971 - not the greatest job, but the countless hours we spent together were a joy and such a happy memory. She had a sparkle and great sense of humor - all I remember is us laughing until we nearly fell out of our saddles. What a girl -
