Although it has been lo these many years since I was in the house on Elm/Juniper, I remember the father of my friend Brian with fondness, and wish him godspeed on the new journey, wherever it may take him.
I remember Drew fondly and with great admiration and respect. He took me under his wing as the new Secretary for the BCMA Economics Committee and helped me greatly. He was the Chair of that Committee for many years and I regarded him as our fearless leader. He always had comical sayings and "Drewisms" that I'll never forget. I am so sad to hear of his passing but so happy that I had a chance to know him.
My deepest sympathy to Marily and his family.

Drew exuded energy, warmth & charisma ; he was an accomplished doctor , father , husband , medical organizer, brother and uncle . His strong personality and good humour will be missed by all ; he left us too soon , but with memories to last a lifetime ...

Our Love , From all of Aunt Isobel (Young) Fraser's family(Our Mum will sorely miss her "baby brother".)
Condolences to the family for Uncle Drew's death. I have fond memories of the visits Uncle Drew made to Ottawa over the years. May he rest in peace. Valerie and Henk Hoogland
As a boy in wood-working class, Drew Young proudly engraved "VL" on a 1-inch-thick piece of pine for older brother Dave's girlfriend Vere Lindon. We set our teapot onto that wee item daily when at the Young cottage in Cawood, Quebec. Sandy, Margaret, Daphne, and Val will remember both uncle Drew and their Mom fondly with each cup-a-tea we drink there. There will be many.
My deepest sympathies to Aunt Marilyn and the family. He will be dearly missed.
Daphne, Mike, Jesse and James

Many fond memories of my times with my cousins and my Aunt Marylin and Uncle Drew.
