Dear Celia, I remember meeting your Dad years ago..and have never forgotten him. However, I know him best through your eyes. He certainly was an extraordinary Dad and person. The love he gave to you, family, friends and community will continue because of their experience of your Dad... He was truly a "faithful servant". peace, Joan Bicocchi
I want to share one of my favorite memories about my Uncle Bud. Never had I water skied in my life. But on one of my visits with my mother and sisters to Lagrange, Uncle Bud had a boat in his yard. I think Bruce was there also, and we went out into the driveway to spot clean the boat. Uncle Bud, Bruce or Andrew, Mary Catherine and I went out to the lake and tried water skiing. Not ever having developed upper body strength I could never pull myself out of the water to actually stand and ski, but it was great fun. In fact, it was so much fun I wanted to go out the next day. Uncle Bud was so much fun! One day, in God's presence, we will have fun again. I believe that when I'm in my resurrected body, I will finally be able to stand up and water ski. Much love and missing Uncle Bud, Therese (New Orleans, LA)
Aunt Anne and family: we were sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Bud. Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. With love from California - The Browns
Brigid and Randy, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. Please know that you both are in my prayers.
Dear Aunt Anne and Cousins:
So difficult to imagine the world without our dear Uncle. His light always brightened each room he entered and his love always warmed and comforted us. It was our great fortune to have spent time at his side. Sending our love
Brigid I am so sorry about your Dad. Just know you will see him again. It is so hard losing a parent. You will have many sleepless nights but just knowing he is in a better place brings some comfort. I am here for you if you need anything.
Dearest little brother: May you rest in peace and know that we will miss you greatly-every single day-until we meet again.
Dearest Anne, we are keeping you close in our prayers and hearts and wish so very much we could be there with you. Our love to all...Mary and Oliver
Brigid, I enjoyed looking through the pictures and getting a glimpse of your Dad and of the legacy he leaves behind. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Trying to come to terms with the loss of a loved one is surely the most painful of life's experiences. Regardless of what sorrow and heartache you feel, God knows and understands your grief. He wants to embrace you with His love and comfort your broken heart. As you read these words of encouragement, God's hand is stretched out to reassure you as he says; "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you: not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not let your heart be troubled, and do not let it be afraid". John 14:27
I am so thankful to have known Daddy Bud and am in awe of his full life and his service to the Lord and his love for his family. I will miss you! Prayers are close for Mama Anne, Brigid and all the family you left behind. Love, Susan
