Missed you today. Found a note you wrote to me in 1987... about how much family meant to you and that you loved me, mom, Larry and Robert. I love you too always and forever, Sis
Blessed is the servant who loves his brother as much when he is sick and useless as when he is well and can be of service to him. And blessed is he who loves his brother as well when he is afar off as when he is by his side, and who would say nothing behind his back he might not, in love, say before his face. ~St Francis of Assisi
I am deeply saddened by the passing of my friend Tony. Tony was always very nice to me and always the same with his cheerful bubbly spirit and beautiful smile. Always a kind word and encouraging to others. He will be missed. My prayers are with the family.
I miss you UT. I hope to live my life to the fullest in the way you did. You have left me with a new attitude toward people and life in general. People loved and respected how awesome of a person you were. There's so much I could say but I've already came to peace with most of it. I love you and you will be a part of me forever.
I met Tony 16 years ago when I was passing through Louisville. Whether it was me visiting him or him coming out to Denver, I always knew it would be a great time! I will miss him dearly. I hope you have found peace my friend.
Very sorry to hear of Tony's Mom passing. She is in a much better place now. God love you.
Tony, my sweet precious cousin, your passing has saddened me and left me wishing we had visited & talked more often. You were always so special to me. I will miss you a lot and will always remember you lovingly.

Tony, I am so glad to have known you. I miss you so much. I miss our conversations about all the silly stuff we both loved like Twilight, American Idol, and Glee! You were so encouraging and always such a positive force in my life. People who didn't even know you would see the things you would write on my page and say what a wonderful person you must be and I always told then, yes, you were a great friend. I am glad to have been your "adpoted niece" and to have known you for the past year and a half. I will miss you dearly. Thank you for the impact you made on my life and on the lives of many others. I'm sorry again that I couldn't get help to you sooner that morning. Love, Lesley.
I sure miss you UT, wanted to send you a FB message today. I Love you Jerry

Tony, you will be missed. It was so good talking as much as we did the past few months after meeting back in the 70's. RIP my friend
I only recently had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Tony - what a wonderful man he was - much loved, sweet, funny, hard-working - I admired his commitment to the Louisville community and how involved he was in so many important causes - I hope that we can look back on his many contributions and truly appreciate the loss - it will be felt deeply and for a very long time, for Tony is irreplaceable. The greatest tribute to Tony is not grief - but gratitude.
To Tony's friends and family. I met him two years ago and let me tell you, it has been a blast knowing him. He open his arms and heart to me and had a huge smile on his face. Tony has truly been an inspiration on me because, to be honest, I never knew a stranger who you have never met and become close friends with, within a short time span. He has always been there for me and showed me that there are real true friends out there that will stand behind you 100 percent. I for one, want to say "Thank You" Tony for being such a warm-hearted and loving friend. You have always been someone I could talk to without hesitation. The conversations we've had, the memories we've shared. I will never forget them. You will have a special place in my heart. You will be deeply missed. I'm shocked and sadden by this. I must look at it this way as well. GOD, he takes the best angels first to watch over us. It's difficult to see this, but, we will be reunited one day my friend. I love you always and forever Tony.
Tony was a dear, kind, sweet man who always had a smile and an encouraging word when you most needed it. His larger than life personality and zest for life will never be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and I hope that they find comfort in knowing that he is in a better place looking down and smiling upon them.
Anthony/Tony was a great friend with a wonderful sense of humor! I have known him most of my life and am so thankful we got to know each other all over again these last few months from being on the reunion committee together and also almost daily on Facebook. My heart goes out to all of his family! Prayers are with all of you. We will miss him so much!!
Dear Friends and Family of Tony's, I met him more than 10 years ago and we began a friendship that forever changed me for the better. I will forever miss coming around the corner and seeing Tony with his head cocked to the side and his arms wide open ready to give me a hug. May you Rest In Peace my friend.
Love forever and always,
Tony took permanent residency in my heart in the 70's. It is now a cold empty spot that I know in time his memories will refill. I hope his family and friends find comfort in his peace.
I was so glad to have found Tony again last August. We had been such good friends in high school and we picked right back up where we had left off. I am still stunned to have lost him again so soon. He was a wonderful friend and I am honored to have known him. My condolences go out to Rose, Robert, Dana and the rest of the family. You will be in my prayers.
I am sorry to hear of Tony's passing. He was a friend from school and a friend today. I remember his laugh and kind words.
Dear Tony's Family...So sorry to hear of Tony's death. We went to high school together and had just reconnected via facebook. I had several chats with him about our upcoming high school reunion. It is really sad that I won't get to see him again. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. God Bless. Darlene White
We lost OUR Tony. I lost my Tony a friend of 39 years. Louisville's gay community lost a leader. Tony brought us together and focused our resources to help each other and others in need. The list of friends who added their talents to amplify his purpose is long and amazing in its diversity. He was able to reach and help so many.He adored his family.
Some of us have a deep lonely place hard to reach. I wish I had tried harder to help him. All I can do now that is useful is remember his purpose and pain and try to to be an echo of his message. I will miss him to my own end.
You came into my life during the March on Washington for Equal Rights. We hit it off as friends and started talking right away. Had I known our friendship would be cut short so quickly, I would have come to visit you before then. Your dedication, love, humor and strength will always be with me. I miss you already!
I haven't known Tony for too long, but he sure could throw a PARTY! Thank you sooo much Tony for the laughs and fun at the "Reunion" you had.........you will be missed by all! Cher would have been proud! Rest in Peace my friend!
I am so sorry to hear of Tony's passing. He and I went to Fairdale High School together and were recently working on our 40th class reunion. What a wonderful, fun-loving guy! I will miss him and his sweet smile. May God hold you all extra close in the days ahead.
Dear Tony's Family,
Sorry to hear of Tony's death. You will all be in my prayers. I went to school with him at Fairdale High. He was a sweet young man then--a dear friend. May God be with all of you.

My deepest sympathy to Tony's family and friends. Tony and I go back a long way and we got to reconnect this past October after a long absence. I was looking forward to seeing more of Tony and seeing the person he had become over the years. I hope he has found peace.
