Tony was my daughters father in law that became her dad, and a very special friend to me. Him and Patsy are the most wonderful friends a person can have. I always enjoyed our times together at Blake and Jacob's football games. He was a wonderful man to have had the privlage of knowing him was my blessing. He will be missed so very much by all who knew him. Heaven has a new angel.

Tony was our neighbor for many years and he really was the most helpful person we ever ran across. He will be missed by everyone in the neighborhood. He was always outside and talking to all of us and protecting everybody in any way he could. He told us this was going to happen and it broke our hearts. Our deepst sympathy goes out to his family and friends because Tony was an Angel on earth. I know he is watching over all of us from above. Thank you Tony for everything you did for everyone.

Tony achieved all the things that matter most in this life. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who instilled in his children and grandchildren the importance of love, family, faith, and community service. He spent his time in law enforcement helping others and making a difference in the lives of those he served. He wasn't content to sit on the sidelines, but understood that the change we all wish to see in the world starts with us. Tony made a difference! His legacy will continue on because of the people that survive him, whose lives he helped to shape. I grieve for those of us who will miss him and the life lessons that resonated within his presence. But, it sustains me to trust that the love and warmth that now envelopes him is devoid of pain or suffering; and finally, he is once again at peace.

What a truly amazing man Tony was. He made everyone he met feel important and special. Always greeting with a hug and that contagious smile...
Tony's heart was full of compassion and tenderness. He touched so many. One in particular was my 6 yr old niece with a Princess Diana beanie baby.
Tony's love and compassion for people was complimented by his dear wife, Pat. Together they touched so many...
I am so thankful to be counted in that "many".
There is laughter and love in Heaven today because Tony has entered into his much deserved rest.

Thinking about Tony, I am hard pressed to think of a more loving and passionate husband, father, grandfather, fiend and Oklahoman.

He instilled all the characteristics of the true law enforcement individual that cared about everyone. This trait has been handed down to his children and grandchildren and it shows in their actions, careers and attitude on life.

I'm honored to have known Tony and I'll miss his smile, sense of humor and compassion.

We will all miss you Tony but the memories will always be present.

Merry Christmas Tony.

Every once in a while you meet a person that truly lights the room he enters. With his humor, his kindness and his underlying courage, Tony was such a man. A hug, a grin and a twinkle in his eye, he charmed us all.

For all who knew him and will miss him so very much, I pray for peace and comfort.

We are all diminished by his death and only lifted by knowing that our Heavenly Father's arms have opened to greet him.

Rest in peace Anthony Charles Nelson.
