My sister, Sandy informed me about Arleta's passing. Our families were close in the 50's, 60's, and part of the 70's, then sadly grew apart. Louie, Mike and Cherie, please accept my condolances and would love to hear back from you.
My condolence to the family of my very
dear friend, Arleta. I shall never forget this most wonderful human being with a ready quick smile for all. I always admired her honesty and her easy friendly manner with others. She is missed by many.

I taught at Auburn High School in the late fifties and early sixties. I enjoyed Arleta's friendliness and good humor. Condolences to the family.
I am so sorry to hear about Arleta. There are so many memories I have of our families being together throughout the years. She always had a smile and welcomed us with open arms. My condolences goes out to her family.
I knew Mrs. Baker for a very short time, but I remember her well. I believe she came to Auburn High School in my Senior year (1956-1957) and was in charge of he attendance office. She was just a very wonderful and caring person. My deepfelt sympathy to Mrs. Baker's family.
Arleta was such a fine human being. She dedicated her life to the school and students. You could always go to her for advice and with your troubles. Smiling, cheerful and loving.
I graduated in 1964 from AHS. At the time I was not collge bound, so I did not interface with Ms. Baker as much as my friends. However, she was a delightful person who always had an open door policy for anyone wishing to speak to her.
My heartfelt condolences to her family. She left footprints on our hearts and was a kind caring person
I taught at Auburn High during many of the years when Arleta worked as a counselor there. When she and I found out that the weights room at the high school was open to students AND faculty after school, we decided to take advantage. We worked out together during one school year. We kept each other motivated to do so. I always enjoyed Arleta. She was a special person.
An Auburn High School legacy who will be remembered always.
I wish to express my condolences to the family of Mrs. Baker. I am forever grateful for the advice she gave me when I was an 18 year old genius who was about to make a terrible decision. Without her concern and support, I would not have graduated from high school. She will always hold a special place in the list of those who have made a positive difference in this man's life. RIP Mrs Baker.
