We are so sad to hear of Arthur's passing. I bought my boat from him a few years ago and he said to me "If you still have it in 5 years, you'll be a true boater". Well not only do I have it, it has grown larger. Sadly, I will be selling it soon, as we bought a larger boat. I brought Art for a ride on it after we got it in the water and he enjoyed that so much. We tried to visit him at Greenpoint but he was out that day
Arthur changed my life and made a boater out of me, I will love him forever for that! Thank you Arthur and Godspeed until we meet again across the blue waters. Randie Hughes

Dear Aunt Jean,

Uncle Art was one of a kind! We loved hearing his stories. It was especially nice getting to see him at your house these last few years. He was always smiling and laughing, causing the rest of us join in with him. He was so young at heart! I know he is at peace now and is probably making God laugh. :-)

Love to you and Toni, Dan and George and everyone.

I have such fun memories of hanging out with Uncle Art when I lived with Janice up in Liverpool when I was 18.
He always was smiling and laughing, and always up for playing all kinds of games - it was always a great time when he was around!
I am so sorry that he was taken from you.
God must have greater need for him up in Heaven.
My love to you all, CaraLynne Spindler
