Dear Lisa...I worked at Hillside as a nurse taking care of your dad...he was a funny, light hearted, beautiful person whose smile was contagious. He was very loved and it was an honor to take care of him if only for a short while. Condolences

Dear Lisa,
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
Thinking of you during this sorrowful time.

Lisa,
On behalf of the Elfring family I extend our deepest sympathy in the loss of your father. Your mother and my father were first cousins and it is always sad to see old family members pass on. We wouldn't be surprised if your folks aren't teeing it up together right now.

Doug & Rosemary Elfring, Saline

Lisa and Kathy - I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. My sincere condolences. While I did not get the pleasure of meeting him, I know that he will continue to live through you each day. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May his memory be eternal.

GUS AT HIS HAPPIEST was with family and friends in good fellowship. The up-beat, inspirational soul is depicted above at Isle Royale National Park when a John Siller-led crew of volunteers from Ann Arbor built a new headquarters building. Not a lazy bone in this dedicated worker who was a product of his family farm near Monroe and later retired with accolades from King Seeley-Chrysler Corporation, Ann Arbor. He loved his wife Jan and daughter Lisa and their's was a mutual admiration. Loud Jan stood at a Michigan football game and yelled down to the Wolverine quarterback, "Throw the G.D. ball!" Gus cringed and slid down in his seat to not be associated with Jan. But, oh, did he ever love that lady!
