To Rob, your sons and all of Barbara's family - I googled her name today and am stunned - I am very sorry to learn of this a year later - we were very close friends at one time but I am such a loner I let go of my friend along the way. Lost my brother this year and now I read this. Thinking of all of you with memories of the Hillsboro house, the births of Eric and Alex and barbecues at John's house (the Dallas ranch). So sorry.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. What beautiful pictures and memories.
Barbara, my lovely sister. Every time I read "British Country Living" or "Victoria", I'll think of you. Or travel, or create, or cook, or walk. I am sorry that you are no longer here with us. Please watch over us.
For Rob, Erik, Alex, the Wilke family, and all others who loved Barbara and were loved by her, our hearts are broken for you and for her. As you combat your profound grief that she was here but a short time, we hope you are comforted by the beautiful memories of her amazing life and accomplishments as she juggled the many roles she took on: wife, mother, daughter, sister, student, artist, community advocate, avid athlete, and passionate curator of so many things so pure and so beautiful in her home and other surroundings. We pray too that she was fully aware of how much she had accomplished, and how loved and admired she was by so many.
Our deepest and heartfelt sympathy for this huge loss, Bob and Liz Weinmann

Barbara you will truly be missed. Working with you was such a pleasure, and being your friend was an honor. We shared so many stories of our kids, families, and our lives. My funniest memories are of you and I sharing Seinfeld quotes throughout the day while we worked. I have been blessed to know you, and I will remember you always, my dear friend!
Dear Albrecht family,
It was with shock and sadness reading Barbara's obituary this morning. Her legacy will live on at our home since we have the fortune of having her original artwork painted on our kitchen walls. I will remember her fondly each and every day I look at it. Our deepest sympathy. Colin and Deena Allen & family
Dear Rob, Erik, Alex and all of the family,
Please accept our most heartfelt condolences.
Our memories are of family times on Canterbury Lane…Barbara in the kitchen cooking up a storm, perhaps whipping up some new frozen concoction in her new blender, laughing and talking on the back deck with the extended family, strolling in the neighborhood after a holiday meal. The happiness and joy of those times will be with us always.
Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
Barb moved to New Milford when we were both 16, and I decided soon after meeting her that I wanted the two of us to be friends. We would often walk home from school together, and, sure enough, became close friends. My mom would tell me, “That girl has spunk.” She was a magnet for people, and always adventurous. She alone could get me to wear a bridal dress, and I was honored to be part of her and Rob's wedding. Barb, even though, in the last few years, we lost contact, don't ever think you didn't play a big part in my life. Your friendship and your generosity will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to Rob, her boys, her parents, and family and friends.
My deepest condolences to the family .Alexander and Erick , be strong , you were very lucky to be raised by such a wonderful person.
I was shocked to read of Barbara's passing. My deepest sympathy and prayers to your entire family. My heart goes out to you and the boys.
I am so sorry for your loss. We were all stunned and saddened by the news. All of us at MED3000 have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Barbara was a wonderful and kind person. I had the honor of treating her as my patient for a number of years. Her smile and gentle way will be missed.
Rob, I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. You and your sons and extended family will be in my prayers today and in the months to come.
Barbara and I knew each other as teenagers. She was truly radiant and full of life – sweet, warm, caring, funny, a pleasure to be around, always lighting up the room with her smile (even with braces back then!). When I saw her at our most recent high-school reunion, I was so pleased to hear her speak of her family and her life with such joy and happiness. I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of such a wonderful person and spirit. My heartfelt prayers and condolences to all her family, friends and loved ones.
Rob, so sorry for your loss. My family's prayers and thoughts are with you, your kids and family.
My heart-felt condolences to Barbara's family and friends. I met Barbara through mutual friends and remember going on some group bike rides with her. She was friendly and kind - a pleasure to be around. May God bless you Barbara. Rest in peace.
Barb will be missed. We were Gym buddies for years sharing stories of our kids. My son is at UCONN too and graduating this year. She always had a bunny story as I had bunnies too. She always spoke kindly of her family and her sisters. I will miss her dearly. She was the smiling face in the early morning at the gym. I will be praying for her and her family.
Rob. One of the few times in my life that I'm totally speechless. So sorry to hear of your loss. Our sincere condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the boys.
My deepest condolences to you and your family Rob. Your family is in my prayers and thoughts during this time of mourning. Sincerely,

John Vicki Henry and Liam Whalen
A sweet, kind, tender adventuress. I will miss sharing each others' travel stories. May God hold you in his arms and take you on endless more adventures!
Helma, John, Kathy and Karin and Rob, Erik and Alex, though the miles and following our own life paths have put some years between us, the bonds of friendship will always be there. Was it only yesterday that the Yurichkos traveled to the burbs (Teaneck) to visit the Wilkes? Good times, day trips and vacations together…good memories. We will miss Barbara…a beautiful girl, a lovely woman. But I have no doubt that as she entered the gates of Heaven greeted by loved ones passed, Dad (Mike) was also there…with the disappearing ink, squirting flower and lots of old jokes! I'm so very, very sorry. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
We will miss your beautiful smile, hardy laughter, your delicious meals and your warm company! We will miss you…! Our thoughts are with all who loved Barbara; our lives will not be the same. Reid & Sue
I met Barbara at a Daymon Christmas party a few years ago and took an immediate liking to her. How could you not, she was awesome! Rob, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, I pray that you will be comforted at this time.
Barbara was sweet, kind and full of life. I can still hear her laughter and see that beautiful smile. Her loss is incomprehensible. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends. She was truly special and will be forever missed.
Thinking of you and the boys at this saddess of times. So sorry for your loss. Your family is in our prayers.
"Rob, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family....for this unimaginable loss....Look to the Lord for his comfort and support...."
Dear Rob, Erik and Alex;
We are heartbroken for all of you. Barbara was that rare person who was as beautiful on the inside -- warm, loving, generous, kind -- as on the outside. She had a way of focusing intently on you when you were speaking and listening very carefully. She made you feel like you were the most interesting person in the room. She also had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and have fun. It still makes me laugh even now to remember how we grown-ups misbehaved during Cub Scouts, joking around and making each other laugh, when our sons had their meetings. Do you know, years ago, at one of our pool get-togethers, that Barbara and I came up with the the "wife-swap" idea, decades before it was made into a television show?! We were laughing and joking with each other about how busy our lives were, and we speculated about how it would be to trade lives for a little while. (Too bad we didn't pitch our idea to a television studio.) I will treasure these fond memories of good times with Barbara. I hope in the difficult, sorrowful days ahead you can get some comfort and respite from your grief by remembering all the wonderful times you had with your beloved Barbara. With kindest regards,
Cynthia, Joe, Rob and Darren Ziehl
I will miss you, Barbara. Rest in peace.
Our Prayers and Love to all of you..
Jeff, Nancy & Allison Korslund

Although I never met Barbara, I knew her through Karin and know that losing her will leave a huge hole in the lives and hearts of so many who dearly loved her. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends. May memories of happy times spent with her bring you peace.
I feel fortunate to have known Barbara and to have experienced the friendship we shared. The loss of this warm and charming person saddens me greatly and I write this with a heavy heart. Many of us were drawn to Barbara because of her gentleness, her beautiful smile, her sense of humor and her thoughtfulness of others. The world has lost someone very special and my heart goes out to all whose lives she touched.
I was so sorry to hear the news of your wife's passing - I understand how hard this time can be. Take comfort in the happy memories - drink them in - talk about them - tell funny stories. I hope this small poem brings you and your family some comfort, as it did my family...
Remember me with smiles not tears.
For all the joy through all the years,
Don't dwell on thoughts that cause you pain
We'll see each other once again
Very sad heart is heavy knew Barbra for 15yrs lovely lady gonna miss her , she was apart of the Bally's family love u Barbra .
As you are now testing out your new set of wings, flying around Heaven on the other side, please stay for a short while so we can all show you our love and bid you a farewell for now, as for one day we will meet again as you can assist us when we join you.
I leave you a photo of your legacy that you are deep in their hearts where you will live eternally with us when we think of you often as our love for you will make your new existence even more special. Because of that we will not let you go. Your new life will be as remarkable as it was when you touched our lives, like you did with your raisin stuffing at thanksgiving, and your legacy of handcrafted furniture you left us. Fortunatly for us, there is so much of you in our heart we can never forget the good times we had. Although its not fair that you beat us to the punch, you are now with others who have gone and are with you now. Please say hello to Nana Pat, and PopPop Al as Im sure they were one of the many who waited for you when you joined them, along with your grand parents and Aunts and Uncles. We will miss you for now, however we will all look forward to the day were we will meet up again and you can give us a tour of your present existence. Heaven is a wonderful place which I am sure you know this already. Please help us with the pain that we are all suffering being we miss greatly because without your sense of humor,an loving personality it will take us a while to heal. As we will join you soon, until then we will remember all the good times we had together. The great kids you raised as part of your Legacy. The friends and family that might find it difficult. I love you and will miss you, but knowing you will be in everybodys heart an minds will help us heal for now. Until we meet again, please help us in our own way deal with you not being around, as you touched our lives more than you could imagine.
Your Loving Brother In Law
