Dear Florence and Family, I will truly miss seeing Barbara. She had such a wonderful sense of humor and a straightforward manner that I really appreciated. Please accept my deepest sympathies.
So sorry and shocked to hear about Barbara's passing - we were not close in the sense of seeing one another on a daily basis, but last month she and I had a wonderful and intimate conversation about our lives - how we lived in the past and how we wanted our futures to be - she was so easy to talk with and she made me laugh...I still can not believe it...she wanted to cook lunch for me "sometime" (I'm sure it would have been beautiful - her cookies were the best!)...Im sorry I never confirmed a lunch date with her...a valuable lesson for me...there is no time like the present...my thoughts are with her family, and especially to her sister that would visit her here on the Cape - I know Barbara enjoyed her company so much...God Bless
Dear Cousins George & Carol, Chrissy, Flo and Bobby and the extended family...
Our hearts are broken along with yours. This is a huge loss in our family. Barbara was an angel here on earth...a giver and selfless soul. She was a mentor to me, as she was to so many. God be with you all.

I will miss you so very much: your sense of humor, your instant poetry, your common sense, your friendship.
Indeed. You were NOT among the dull normals about whom we so heartily chuckled during all those lunches at the Globe.
I hope you will forgive me for not staying in touch more!
Very much love and sympathy to your family. You will be missed by everyone who knew you.
Dear George, Carol and Family
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your sister and sister-in-law. May your many wonderful memories live on.
Sincerely, Doris and David DeSaulnier
On behalf of the Boston Globe medical department, please accept our sincere condolences. Barbara was a treasured leader and mentor to all of us. Godspeed, Dear Barbara!
Though our families may not been has close as our parents have wished, we always knew that our cousins were family. Barbara, peace. Cousins, remember, there is a better place for us all. The Brucia cousins.
We wish to extend our deepest sympathies at this difficult time.
