I just learned of Ben death. we were best of friend in the 60's. Ben came and lived with me when I transferred to Utah from KY with GE. He didn't stay long but my oh my do I have so many great memories, my deepest condolances to his family. I lost touch decades ago, but we were best of friends for sure when he lived on Markel Lane in Okolona, KY. May he rest in peace. Morris H. Kulmer, ada Bubby Kulmer
I'm am so sorry this is getting posted late, but hope Tracy, Stacy and Gail understand.
Ben and I were really good friends for almost 30 years. Ben amd our families started our new adventure in SC at the same time, I think that's why we were alwasys good friends. From the first time we met the family (Condo days on Dorcester Road) we felt like their home was our home. We all went through good times and some bad times together. We lost contact over the years as people typically do, but anyone who knew Ben knows you could always count on honest advice, good food and good times.
I was saddened to hear about Ben's death. He and my father were close friends when he lived in Charleston, SC after working together at Alumax. I can remember many good times with him and Gail on the Benjammin' boat and many other memories that go back to the time i was four years old. My prayers go out to his family in this time of grief.
My prayers go out to the family in this time of grief. I worked for Ben in Charleston, SC when he owned Alu Tech.
